Our friend of many years, Mr. Bill Kinney of Bennettsville, passed away on Sunday, February 19. Mr. Kinney was the long-time Chairman of the State Board of Review for the National Register and Vice Chair of the SC Archives and History Commission. Because of his charm and enthusiasm for history, Mr. Kinney was a great Ambassador and advocate for historic preservation in South Carolina. He will be greatly missed.
